The film follows a koala named Buster Moon, who is a theater impresario and is desperate to save his theater from being demolished. He decides to put on the world’s greatest singing competition, offering a grand prize of $100,000. He then recruits a group of contestants, including a young mouse, a shy elephant, a punk-rock porcupine, a gorilla gangster, and a punk-rock pig.
The competition brings out the best in all of the contestants, and theydiscover that the power of music can bring them together in unexpected ways. As Buster Moon and the contestants work together to put on the best show possible, they find out that they can achieve anything if they work together.
The film features a star-studded voice cast, including Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Tori Kelly, John C. Reilly, Nick Kroll, and Nick Offerman. The film’s soundtrack features popular songs from the past and present, including “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift, “Faith” by George Michael, and “Set It All Free” by Scarlett Johansson.
