Synopsis – What to Expect from “Shrooms”
Shrooms is a horror-thriller set in the Irish countryside. Five American friends, Tara, Jake, Jeff, Daisy, and Heather, are on a camping trip in Ireland. They decide to take a detour to an old abandoned cabin in the woods. As they explore the cabin, they find a stash of psychedelic mushrooms and decide to take them.
The group is soon overcome by the effects of the mushrooms and their hallucinations start to become increasingly terrifying. They are stalked by a hooded figure in the woods and experience visions of a mysterious girl in white. They also come across a strange creature in the forest that appears to be a hybrid of a human and a deer.
The group soon discovers that the mushrooms have opened a portal to the spirit world and they are in danger of being possessed by evil forces. They must find a way to close the portal before it is too late. As they struggle to survive the night, they must battle their own inner demons and confront the dark secrets of the forest.
The group must rely on their wits and courage to make it through the night alive. In the end, they must face the ultimate horror – the horror of their own minds.
