Synopsis – What to Expect from “Shimmer Lake”
Shimmer Lake is a crime thriller that follows a small-town sheriff, Zeke Sikes, as he attempts to unravel a bank robbery gone wrong.
The film begins with a bank robbery in the small town of Shimmer Lake. The robbers, led by a mysterious figure, steal a large sum of money and leave behind a dead security guard. Zeke Sikes, the local sheriff, is called to investigate the crime.
As Zeke begins to investigate, he discovers that the robbery was an inside job. He finds out that the robbers are connected to a local drug dealer and a corrupt businessman. He also discovers that the robbers have taken the money to a cabin in the woods.
Zeke follows the robbers to the cabin and finds out that the robbers are planning to leave town with the money. He attempts to stop them, but is overpowered and taken hostage. While in captivity, Zeke discovers that the robbery was orchestrated by a mysterious figure known as “The Engineer”.
Meanwhile, Zeke’s former partner, Detective Mike O’Brien, is called in to assist in the investigation. With the help of Mike, Zeke is able to track down the Engineer and the robbers. He confronts them and eventually takes them into custody.
At the end of the film, Zeke is able to recover the stolen money and bring the criminals to justice. The town of Shimmer Lake is saved and Zeke is hailed as a hero.
