Synopsis/Plot
Sherlock: The Abominable Bride is a special one-off episode of the popular British television series Sherlock, which aired on BBC One in January 2016. The episode takes place in Victorian London and follows the adventures of the world’s greatest detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his trusty sidekick, Dr. John Watson.
The episode begins with Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes discussing a mysterious bride who has been terrorizing London. Witnesses claim to have seen the bride in the middle of the night, and all of the victims have been found dead in mysterious circumstances.
Sherlock decides to investigate the case and soon discovers that the bride is actually a powerful spirit that has been released from a Chinese artifact. With the help of his brother, Mycroft, and the assistance of a mysterious woman named Irene Adler, Sherlock and Watson must unravel the mystery of the bride and put an end to her reign of terror.
The episode features a number of exciting action sequences as Sherlock and Watson battle the bride and her minions. The episode also features a number of clever deductions and puzzles, which the audience is challenged to solve along with Sherlock.
