Synopsis – What to Expect from “She Hate Me”
She Hate Me is a 2004 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Spike Lee. The film follows the story of Jack Armstrong (Anthony Mackie), a former biotech executive who is fired after he blows the whistle on his company’s corrupt business practices. In order to make ends meet, Jack begins a business of impregnating wealthy lesbians, leading to a series of unexpected complications.
The film begins with Jack Armstrong, a successful biotech executive, who is fired from his position after he exposes his company’s unethical business practices. He is then blacklisted from the industry and finds himself struggling to make ends meet. Desperate for money, he is approached by his ex-fiancée Fatima (Kerry Washington), who is now a lesbian. She and her lesbian partner Alex (Ellen Barkin) offer Jack a large sum of money if he agrees to be their sperm donor.
Jack agrees to the arrangement and begins to impregnate a series of wealthy lesbians, earning him the nickname “The Studfather.” However, his newfound business soon attracts the attention of the FBI, who suspect him of running a prostitution ring. Jack must then defend himself against the FBI’s accusations while trying to keep his business afloat.
