Synopsis – What to Expect from “Shattered”
Shattered is a 1991 American psychological thriller directed by Wolfgang Petersen and starring Tom Berenger and Bob Hoskins.
The film follows Dan Merrick (Berenger), a successful businessman who has recently been promoted to a high-powered executive position. After a night of celebrating his promotion, Dan is involved in a car accident that leaves him in a coma.
When Dan wakes up, he finds that he has lost his memory and can’t remember anything about his life before the accident. He is taken to a hospital where he begins to recover, but soon finds that he is being stalked by a mysterious figure.
Dan’s wife, Linda (Greta Scacchi), is desperate to help him recover his memory, but he is unable to remember anything. As Dan struggles to piece together his past, he discovers that his life was far from perfect. He discovers that his wife was having an affair with his business partner, and that his promotion was actually a scam.
As Dan’s investigation into his past continues, he begins to uncover a sinister conspiracy that threatens to destroy his life. With the help of a private investigator, Dan begins to unravel the truth and find out who is responsible for his accident.
As he gets closer to the truth, Dan must face his own demons and confront the people responsible for his accident. In the end, Dan must make a choice between his career and his family. Shattered is a thrilling and suspense
