Synopsis/Plot
Shaft is a 2000 American action crime film directed by John Singleton and starring Samuel L. Jackson. The film is a sequel to the 1971 film of the same name.
The film follows John Shaft Jr., the nephew of the original John Shaft, as he navigates the dangerous underworld of New York City. After his best friend is murdered, Shaft teams up with his uncle to find the killer and bring him to justice. Along the way, he discovers a corrupt police force, a drug ring and a mysterious criminal mastermind.
Shaft is a thrilling action-packed ride that follows John Shaft Jr. as he battles his way through the criminal underworld of New York. With the help of his uncle, John Shaft Sr., and a few other allies, Shaft must use all of his skills to take down the drug ring and bring justice to his friend’s killer. The film features intense action sequences, thrilling car chases, and a great soundtrack.
