Synopsis – What to Expect from “Severance”
Severance is an action-packed thriller about a team of sales representatives from a multinational weapons manufacturer who embark on a team-building retreat in the remote Hungarian countryside. Little do they know, they are being hunted by a team of ruthless mercenaries.
The team consists of the confident and ambitious Chris (Danny Dyer), the talented and outgoing Maggie (Laura Harris), the shy and introverted Steve (Toby Stephens), the bumbling and clumsy Richard (Tim McInnerny), and the no-nonsense leader, Bill (Clive Russell).
When they arrive at their destination, they find a run-down lodge and a suspiciously deserted village. As the team begins their activities, they soon realize that they are being stalked by a group of mercenaries.
The mercenaries soon attack, killing some of the team and kidnapping the others. The survivors must band together and fight for their lives as they attempt to escape the mercenaries and survive the wilderness.
The team must use all of their wits and skills to outsmart the mercenaries and make it out alive. Along the way, they must also face their own inner demons and confront their own fears.
