Synopsis – What to Expect from “Secret Admirer”
Secret Admirer follows the story of Michael Ryan, a high school student who is in love with the most popular girl in school, Deborah Ann Fimple. After writing a love letter to her, he entrusts his best friend, Toni, to deliver it to her. However, Toni decides to play a prank and instead of delivering the letter to Deborah, she sends it to Michael’s other crush, Donna.
When Donna reads the letter, she’s convinced that Michael is her secret admirer and she begins to fall for him. Meanwhile, Michael is trying to figure out who his secret admirer is and why they keep sending him gifts.
When Michael finally discovers the truth, he is heartbroken and embarrassed. He confronts Toni and she apologizes for her prank. Michael then decides to take matters into his own hands and he devises a plan to win Deborah’s heart.
Michael and Toni enlist the help of their friends and they set out to make Deborah realize how much Michael loves her. They plan a romantic dinner for Michael and Deborah, and they even send her anonymous love letters.
Eventually, Deborah realizes that Michael is her secret admirer and they begin a relationship. As their relationship grows, Michael and Deborah must deal with the disapproval of their peers and the pressures of being a couple in high school.
In the end, Michael and Deborah prove that true love can conquer all obstacles
