Synopsis/Plot
Scooby-Doo! and the Loch Ness Monster is a 2004 direct-to-video animated comedy mystery film, and the sixth in a series of direct-to-video animated films based upon the Scooby-Doo Saturday morning cartoons. In this installment, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma, and Daphne travel to Scotland to visit Daphne’s cousin, Shannon, and her father, Mr. Blake, who owns a hotel near Loch Ness.
Upon arriving, the gang learns that the Loch Ness Monster has been terrorizing the nearby village and is scaring away all the tourists. The gang decides to investigate and soon discovers that the monster is actually a robotic replica created by a local inventor, Mr. McDuff, to drum up business for the town.
However, the gang soon finds themselves in a race against time as Mr. McDuff’s plan backfires and the robotic monster begins to cause destruction in the village. With the help of a friendly local, Angus, the gang must use their detective skills to uncover the mystery and save the day.
