Synopsis/Plot
Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders is a 2000 direct-to-video animated comedy mystery film, and the second of the direct-to-video series of Scooby-Doo films. The Mystery Inc. gang travels to a desert town after winning a free vacation. However, the town is being plagued by mysterious aliens. The gang must investigate the strange occurrences and unmask the aliens before it’s too late.
The film follows the Mystery Inc. gang as they drive to the desert town of Gold City in their Mystery Machine. After arriving, they quickly find out that the town is being terrorized by aliens. The locals are scared, and the mayor is desperate for help. The gang decides to investigate, and soon discovers that the aliens are actually robots created by a mad scientist. The robots are trying to locate a powerful energy source hidden in the desert.
The Mystery Inc. gang must put a stop to the robots’ plans before they can locate the energy source.
