Synopsis – What to Expect from “Scissors”
Scissors is a psychological thriller released in 1991, starring Sharon Stone, Alan Thicke, and Phil Rubenstein. The movie follows a troubled young woman, Sarah (Stone), who is dealing with a mental breakdown. After a series of violent outbursts, Sarah is committed to a psychiatric ward.
Once inside the ward, Sarah finds herself in a world of manipulation and control. She meets Dr. Brice (Thicke), a psychiatrist who uses unorthodox methods to try to help her. But Sarah soon realizes that the doctor is not what he seems.
As Sarah’s mental state deteriorates, she begins to see visions of a figure called Scissors, who seems to be stalking her. She soon finds out that Scissors is a real person, a serial killer who has been targeting other patients in the hospital.
Sarah must confront her fears and confront Scissors in order to save herself and the other patients. With the help of her friends, Sarah must find the courage to fight back and defeat Scissors.
The movie follows Sarah as she struggles to find her way out of the hospital and back to a normal life. Along the way, she must confront her own inner demons and fears, as well as the evil of Scissors. In the end, Sarah has to make a difficult decision between life and death.
