Synopsis/Plot
Savages is an action-packed crime drama directed by Oliver Stone and released in 2012. It follows the story of two Laguna Beach pot growers, Ben and Chon (played by Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson), who are living the good life until they are approached by the ruthless Mexican drug cartel. The cartel demands a partnership with the two young men, threatening their lives and the lives of their friends if they refuse. The two refuse, and the cartel retaliates by kidnapping their shared girlfriend, O (Blake Lively).
Ben and Chon enlist the help of a former DEA agent, Dennis (John Travolta), to help them rescue O and bring down the cartel. They devise a plan to get the cartel to release O and take down the cartel by using their own resources. The plan works, but the cartel retaliates, and a bloody and violent battle ensues.
