Synopsis – What to Expect from “Rock ‘n’ Roll High School”
Rock ‘n’ Roll High School is a 1979 American musical comedy film directed by Allan Arkush and starring P.J. Soles, Vince Van Patten, and Clint Howard. She is constantly getting in trouble with the school’s principal, Miss Togar (Mary Woronov), who is determined to keep the school a place of learning and not a place for rock and roll.
Riff and her friends, including Eaglebauer (Vince Van Patten) and Kate Rambeau (Dey Young), decide to take matters into their own hands and try to bring rock and roll to their school. They enlist the help of their favorite band, the Ramones, to help them make their school more rock and roll friendly.
Riff and her friends come up with a plan to get the Ramones to play at their school, but they must first get past Miss Togar and the school’s faculty. The students organize a school-wide protest and rally in an effort to get the faculty to change their minds.
Meanwhile, the Ramones are in town and they
