Synopsis/Plot
Rock-A-Doodle is a 1992 animated musical comedy film directed by Don Bluth and produced by Sullivan Bluth Studios. The film follows the story of a young farm boy named Edmond, who is forced to leave his home and embark on a journey to save the world from a villainous owl, the Grand Duke of Owls. Along the way, Edmond meets a variety of colorful characters, including a group of singing farm animals, a talking cat, and a mysterious rooster named Chanticleer.
The story begins with Edmond’s grandfather telling him the story of Chanticleer, a singing rooster who could make the sun rise every morning with his crowing. One day, the Grand Duke of Owls, frustrated with Chanticleer’s singing, casts a spell that causes the sun to stay hidden forever. As a result, the world is thrown into chaos and the Grand Duke of Owls takes control.
