Synopsis/Plot
Robin Hood is a 2018 action-adventure film directed by Otto Bathurst and written by Ben Chandler and David James Kelly, based on the legendary folk tale of the same name. The film stars Taron Egerton as Robin Hood, Jamie Foxx as Little John, Eve Hewson as Maid Marian, Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham, and Jamie Dornan as Will Scarlet.
The story follows Robin Hood, a war-hardened crusader and his Moorish commander, Little John, as they mount a revolt against the corrupt English crown. With the help of his band of Merry Men, Robin Hood must battle the Sheriff of Nottingham and his henchmen to restore justice to the kingdom. Along the way, he falls in love with Maid Marian, a beautiful noblewoman who is the niece of the Sheriff.
The action-packed adventure follows Robin and his men as they fight against the Sheriff and his forces, using their wit and courage to overcome the odds. Along the way, Robin and Little John discover a plot to overthrow the King of England, and must join forces with the mysterious Night Watchman to protect the kingdom from the threat.
