Synopsis/Plot
Riot is a 2018 American action thriller film directed by John Lyde and starring John Hudson, Dolph Lundgren, and Danielle Chuchran.
The story follows a group of prison inmates who become embroiled in a violent prison riot. When the riot begins, the prison’s corrupt warden and his cronies take hostages, including the prison’s doctor, and demand a ransom of one million dollars. In order to save the hostages, a group of inmates led by a former soldier, John, must take action and fight back against the warden and his henchmen.
John and his allies must battle their way through the prison, fighting off the warden’s thugs and freeing the hostages. Along the way, they discover a shocking secret about the warden and his plans for the prison, and must race against time to stop him before it’s too late.
Riot is an intense, action-packed thriller with plenty of twists and turns. The film features intense fight scenes, dramatic performances, and an exciting story that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. It is sure to be a hit with action fans, and is sure to provide an exciting ride.
