Rings is a supernatural horror film released in 2005. It is the third installment in the Ring franchise. The film follows the story of a college student named Jake (Ryan Merriman), who is given a mysterious videotape that holds a dark and deadly curse.
When Jake watches the tape, he receives a phone call that informs him he has only seven days to live. Desperate to save his life, Jake sets out to find the source of the curse and discovers that it is connected to a young girl named Samara (Kelly Stables).
Samara was killed seven days after watching the same videotape, and now her spirit is cursed to haunt anyone who watches it. Jake and his girlfriend, Emily (Alexis Dziena), are determined to break the curse and save Jake’s life.
They enlist the help of a professor, Noah (Martin Donovan), who has studied the supernatural and believes in the power of the curse. Noah helps them uncover the origins of the curse and the dark secrets of Samara’s past.
As Jake and Emily uncover more and more of the mystery, they realize that the only way to break the curse is to return Samara to her resting place. With time running out, they must find a way to save Jake’s life and put an end to the curse.
