Synopsis/Plot
Richie Rich’s Christmas Wish is a 1998 live-action family movie directed by John Murlowski and starring David Gallagher and Edward Asner. The movie follows the story of Richie Rich (Gallagher), the world’s richest kid, who is struggling to find the true meaning of Christmas and prove to his family and friends that he is not just a spoiled brat. When a magical snowglobe appears on his doorstep, Richie finds himself transported to a winter wonderland where he meets a variety of characters, including Santa Claus (Asner) and the evil Mr. Cheapskate (Michael McKean).
Richie embarks on a magical journey to find the true meaning of Christmas, and along the way, he discovers the importance of family, friendship, and giving. With the help of his new friends, Richie must face his fears and confront Mr. Cheapskate in order to save Christmas.
