Synopsis/Plot
Revenge is a 2018 American action thriller film written, produced and directed by Coralie Fargeat. It stars Matilda Lutz, Kevin Janssens, Vincent Colombe, and Guillaume Bouchède.
The film follows Jen, a young woman who is vacationing with her wealthy married boyfriend Richard in his secluded desert home. After two of Richard’s obnoxious hunting buddies, Stan and Dimitri, arrive for a weekend of partying, Jen begins to feel uncomfortable and out of place. When Stan tries to rape her, she fights back and is able to escape. Richard and his friends, however, are determined to keep her from telling anyone what happened and hunt her down in the desert.
With no one to turn to, Jen is forced to fight for her life in a brutal and relentless struggle for survival. As she plots her revenge, she discovers a strength she never knew she had and proves that she will stop at nothing to get justice.
