Synopsis – What to Expect from “Reflections in a Golden Eye”
Reflections in a Golden Eye is a 1967 drama directed by John Huston and starring Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Brian Keith, and Robert Forster.
The movie takes place in the 1940s at a military base in the American south. Major Weldon Penderton (Brando) is a career officer who is having an affair with his wife’s (Taylor) best friend, Leonora (Julie Harris). Penderton’s wife, Alison (Geraldine Page), is a cold and distant woman who is having her own affair with a young enlisted man, Private Williams (Forster).
