Meanwhile, a werewolf has been terrorizing the village, killing and eating its inhabitants. A werewolf hunter named Father Solomon (Oldman) is brought in to help the villagers, and he believes that the werewolf is actually a man who has cursed himself with the ability to transform.
Valerie’s grandmother (Julie Christie) tells her the story of the werewolf, and warns her to be careful. As the villagers prepare for the upcoming wedding, Valerie begins to suspect that the werewolf is someone she knows.
