Synopsis – What to Expect from “Red Hill”
Red Hill is an Australian western-style thriller set in a small rural town in the Australian outback. The story follows Shane Cooper (Ryan Kwanten), a young police officer who is transferred to the remote town of Red Hill, where he is tasked with maintaining law and order.
Shane soon discovers that Red Hill is a place of secrets, and that the town’s residents are living in fear of a mysterious figure known as “Old Bill” (Steve Bisley). Old Bill is a seemingly unstoppable killer who is on the hunt for a fugitive convict (Tom E. Lewis), and Shane is determined to bring him to justice.
As Shane attempts to protect the townspeople from Old Bill’s rampage, he soon finds himself embroiled in a web of violence and revenge, as Old Bill’s true identity is slowly revealed. As Shane’s investigation continues, he discovers the truth behind Old Bill’s motivations and the secrets that have been kept hidden for years.
As Shane races to stop Old Bill and bring him to justice, he must also confront his own inner demons, and ultimately decide what kind of man he wants to be. Red Hill is a thrilling and suspenseful journey into the dark heart of the Australian outback.
