Synopsis/Plot
Red Heat is an action-packed crime drama starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Belushi. The film follows two mismatched cops, one from the Soviet Union and one from the United States, as they team up to take down a notorious drug lord in Chicago.
When Ivan Danko (Schwarzenegger), a Moscow-based police officer, is sent to Chicago to extradite a notorious Russian drug lord, he is paired with Detective Art Ridzik (Belushi), a street-smart Chicago cop. Despite their differences, the two must work together to capture the criminal and prevent a major drug deal from taking place.
The unlikely duo face numerous obstacles as they attempt to track down the drug lord, including corrupt police officers, gangsters, and a powerful mob boss. Along the way, they must also deal with their own personal issues, as Ivan struggles to adjust to the American way of life and Art must confront his own demons.
