Synopsis/Plot
Radio Rebel is a 2012 Disney Channel Original Movie starring Debby Ryan as Tara Adams, a shy high school student who is afraid to stand up for herself. She secretly hosts an anonymous online radio show under the pseudonym Radio Rebel, where she gives advice and plays the music she loves. As Radio Rebel’s popularity grows, Tara’s confidence increases and she begins to stand up for herself and others. However, when the school’s principal discovers Tara’s secret identity, she threatens to shut down the show unless Tara agrees to help her win the upcoming student council election. With the help of her friends, Tara must find a way to protect her secret identity, save her show, and stand up for what she believes in. Radio Rebel is a fun and inspiring story about discovering your inner strength and having the courage to be yourself.
