Synopsis/Plot
Quest for Camelot is a 1998 animated musical fantasy film directed by Frederik Du Chau and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The film follows the story of Kayley, a young girl whose father is killed by the evil knight Ruber. After being taken in by the wise wizard Merlin, Kayley embarks on a quest to find the magical sword Excalibur and restore peace to the kingdom of Camelot. Along the way, she meets a blind hermit, a two-headed dragon, and a brave young knight named Garrett.
The film features an all-star voice cast, including Jessalyn Gilsig as Kayley, Cary Elwes as Garrett, Gary Oldman as Ruber, Pierce Brosnan as King Arthur, and Eric Idle as Merlin. The music was composed by Patrick Doyle and performed by Celine Dion.
The story takes place in a time of great turmoil in the kingdom of Camelot. Ruber, an evil knight, has stolen the magical sword Excalibur and is wreaking havoc on the kingdom.
