Synopsis/Plot
Queenpins is a 2020 crime comedy film directed by Zachary Adler and starring Kristen Bell, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Vince Vaughn. The film follows a suburban housewife, Sophie (Bell), who teams up with her former high school classmate, Vivian (Howell-Baptiste), to start a coupon counterfeiting business.
Sophie is a stay-at-home mom living in a small suburban town with her husband and two kids. She is bored with her mundane life and yearns for something more. When Vivian, her former classmate, moves back to town, she sees an opportunity for something new. Vivian is a savvy entrepreneur who has a plan to start a counterfeit coupon business. The two team up and start printing and distributing the fake coupons to local stores.
The business is an instant success and soon the two women are making a lot of money. But their success attracts the attention of the local police, as well as a dangerous gangster, who wants a piece of the action. As the pressure mounts, Sophie and Vivian must use their wits and cunning to outsmart their adversaries and stay one step ahead of the law.
