Synopsis/Plot
Queen Christina is a 1933 American biographical drama film directed by Rouben Mamoulian and starring Greta Garbo. It follows the story of Queen Christina of Sweden, who abdicates her throne to pursue a life of freedom and love. The film follows her journey as she embarks on a journey to Spain to meet with King Philip IV, and is forced to choose between her love for him and her loyalty to her country.
