Synopsis – What to Expect from “Puppet Master”
Puppet Master is a 1989 supernatural horror film directed by David Schmoeller. The film follows a group of psychics led by Dr. Andre Toulon (William Hickey) who discover a mysterious puppet master and his collection of killer puppets.
The psychics, including Alex Whitaker (Jenny Agutter), Neil Gallagher (Paul LeMat), and Megan Gallagher (Irene Miracle), are hired by a mysterious benefactor to investigate the mysterious death of Dr. Toulon. While searching his home, they discover a secret room filled with puppets and a mysterious elixir. It is revealed that Dr. Toulon was an expert in the occult arts and had discovered a way to give life to inanimate objects. He had used his knowledge to create a powerful race of puppets, which he used for his own ends.
When the psychics discover the puppets, they quickly realize that they are alive and have an evil agenda. The puppets, led by the sinister Pinhead, begin to terrorize the psychics as they attempt to uncover the secrets of the puppet master. The psychics must use their powers to battle the puppets and discover the truth behind Dr. Toulon’s death.
The psychics soon discover that the puppet master is actually an ancient Egyptian sorcerer named Sutekh. Sutekh is determined to use the puppets to take over the world and the psychics must stop him
