Synopsis – What to Expect from “P.S.”
P.S. is a romantic drama film about Louise Harrington, a thirty-something admissions officer at Columbia University who is stuck in a rut. She is single, lives alone, and is struggling to find meaning in her life.
One day, Louise receives an application from a young man named F. Scott Feinstadt, who is applying to the university. Louise is immediately drawn to Scott’s application and is intrigued by his unique background and his writing. She soon discovers that Scott is the son of her high school sweetheart, and that he had died in a car accident when she was only sixteen.
Louise is determined to meet Scott and, after much deliberation, she decides to fly out to California to meet him. When she arrives, she finds Scott to be a charming and outgoing young man, and the two quickly form a strong bond.
Scott soon reveals to Louise that he has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and only has a few months to live. Despite this, Louise and Scott’s relationship continues to grow and they soon fall in love.
The two decide to make the most of their time together and embark on a road trip across the United States, taking in all the sights and sounds of the country. As their journey progresses, Louise and Scott’s relationship deepens and they discover a newfound appreciation for life and the beauty of living in the present.
In the end, Louise and Scott
