Synopsis/Plot
Problem Child 2 is a 1991 American comedy film directed by Brian Levant and starring John Ritter, Michael Oliver, Jack Warden, Laraine Newman, and Amy Yasbeck. It is the sequel to the 1990 film Problem Child.
In the film, Junior (Michael Oliver) is now living with his adoptive parents Ben (John Ritter) and Flo (Laraine Newman). However, Junior is still up to his mischievous ways and is causing trouble at school. When Ben and Flo decide to take a vacation, they hire a nanny, a kind-hearted but naive woman named Bonnie (Amy Yasbeck).
Meanwhile, Junior’s biological father, a con-man named Stan (Jack Warden), is released from prison and returns to wreak havoc. Stan sets out to get revenge on Ben and reclaim his son.
The film follows Junior as he uses his wits to outsmart his father and protect his family. Along the way, he also learns valuable lessons about family and loyalty.
