Synopsis – What to Expect from “Private Resort”
Private Resort is a 1985 American comedy film directed by George Bowers and starring Rob Morrow and Johnny Depp. The film follows two teenage boys, Jack (Morrow) and Ben (Depp), who are spending their summer vacation at a luxurious Florida resort.
Jack and Ben are determined to make the most of their vacation by trying to meet girls. They come up with a plan to sneak into the resort’s exclusive nightclub, but their plan fails when they are caught by the security guard. In order to avoid getting into trouble, the boys decide to hide out in one of the resort’s private villas.
Meanwhile, the villa’s owner, a rich businessman named Mr. Mancini (Hector Elizondo), arrives at the resort with his beautiful daughter, Vanessa (Emily Longstreth). Jack and Ben soon realize that Mr. Mancini is up to something shady and decide to investigate.
With the help of a friendly maid (Gloria LeRoy), the boys discover that Mr. Mancini is actually a jewel thief and is planning to steal a valuable necklace from the resort’s owner. Jack and Ben must find a way to stop Mr. Mancini and save the resort from his criminal activities.
