Synopsis/Plot
Police Academy 3: Back in Training is a classic comedy from 1986. It’s the third installment in the Police Academy franchise and stars Steve Guttenberg, Bubba Smith, Michael Winslow, and David Graf. The story follows a group of misfit police academy recruits who are sent back to the academy for a refresher course. This time, they are up against a rival academy, run by the by-the-book Lt. Proctor (played by Art Metrano). The recruits must prove that they are still the best in order to save their academy from being shut down.
The recruits face a series of challenges as they compete with the rival academy. They must learn to work together as a team and use their unique skills to outsmart their opponents. Along the way, they must also deal with the antics of their fellow recruits, including the mischievous Mahoney (Guttenberg), the loudmouth Tackleberry (Smith), and the sound-effects expert Jones (Winslow).
