Synopsis/Plot
Planet 51 is a 2009 animated science fiction comedy film directed by Jorge Blanco, written by Joe Stillman, and starring Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, and John Cleese.
The movie follows Lem, an alien who lives on Planet 51, a world populated by green human-like aliens. Lem is an average teenager who loves his job at the local planetarium and dreams of one day becoming an astronaut.
When an astronaut from Earth, Captain Chuck Baker, lands on Planet 51, Lem and his friends must find a way to help him get back home. In the process, they learn about the history of Planet 51 and its inhabitants.
The movie is filled with laughs and adventure as Lem and his friends help Captain Baker find his way back to Earth. Along the way, they encounter alien creatures, robots, and all sorts of other strange and wonderful things.
