Synopsis/Plot
Phone Booth is a 2002 thriller directed by Joel Schumacher and starring Colin Farrell, Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker, and Katie Holmes. The story follows a New York City publicist, Stu Shepard (Farrell), who is trapped in a phone booth by a mysterious sniper (Sutherland). The sniper, who is never seen, forces Stu to confront his past sins and make a life-altering decision in a matter of minutes.
The film opens with Stu, an ambitious publicist, trying to make his way to a meeting with a potential client. On his way, he stops to make a phone call from a public phone booth. As he talks, a mysterious voice on the other end of the line threatens to kill him if he hangs up. Stu soon realizes that he is being watched by a sniper, who is threatening to shoot him if he leaves the booth.
Stu is soon joined by a police officer, Captain Ramey (Whitaker), who is attempting to negotiate with the sniper. As the situation escalates, Stu is forced to confront his past mistakes and the consequences of his actions. He also has to deal with the pressure of the media, who
