Synopsis – What to Expect from “Peter and the Wolf”
Peter and the Wolf is a classic animated musical short film from 1946. It tells the story of Peter, a young boy living in a small village in Russia. Peter loves to explore the nearby forest and one day he discovers a wolf cub. Peter takes the cub home and names him Wolf.
The two quickly become friends and Peter’s grandfather tells him the story of the brave hunter, Peter and the Wolf. The story inspires Peter and he decides to take Wolf on an adventure to capture the wolf that is terrorizing the village.
On their journey, they meet a variety of animals who help them in their quest. They eventually find the wolf and are able to capture it. Peter and Wolf return to the village, where they are greeted as heroes.
The film ends with Peter and Wolf living happily ever after in the village, and the villagers singing a song about their friendship.
