Synopsis – What to Expect from “Pernicious”
Pernicious tells the story of three young American girls, who travel to Thailand for a fun-filled vacation. Little do they know that their holiday will become a living nightmare.
When they arrive in Thailand, the girls are invited to join an ancient ritual at a local temple. After the ceremony, they are gifted a powerful amulet that is said to bring great luck. Little do they know that the amulet is actually cursed, and they have unleashed an ancient evil.
The girls soon discover that the amulet has unleashed a powerful spirit that is determined to take their souls. The spirit takes the form of a vengeful ghost and begins to hunt them down.
The girls must now find a way to survive the spirit’s relentless pursuit, while also trying to find a way to break the curse and rid themselves of the amulet. Along the way, they must battle their own inner demons and confront their darkest fears.
