Synopsis – What to Expect from “Paydirt”
Paydirt is a crime thriller set in the fictional town of Port Monroe, California. It follows the story of Val, a small-time drug dealer who is desperate to make a deal with a notorious drug kingpin known as “The Boss”. Val’s plan is to use his own drug-dealing skills to make a deal with The Boss that will allow him to make a huge profit and get out of the drug game.
The movie starts with Val and his partner, Jake, making a deal with a local drug dealer. They make a successful exchange, but Val is quickly warned by the dealer to stay away from The Boss. Val and Jake ignore the warning and decide to take a chance on making a deal with The Boss.
Val and Jake make arrangements to meet with The Boss, but their plan is quickly intercepted by a local crime syndicate. The syndicate’s boss, a man named Salazar, demands that Val and Jake work for him instead. Val and Jake reluctantly agree to Salazar’s terms, and they are sent to Port Monroe to make a deal with The Boss.
When they arrive in Port Monroe, Val and Jake quickly realize that they are in over their heads. The Boss is a powerful and dangerous criminal, and he is surrounded by a group of ruthless thugs. Val and Jake must use all of their wits and skills to survive the dangerous situation they have gotten themselves into.
