Synopsis/Plot
Passenger 57 is a 1992 action thriller starring Wesley Snipes as John Cutter, an ex-cop turned security expert who is hired by an airline to protect a high-profile prisoner on a flight from Los Angeles to Miami. However, Cutter soon discovers that the prisoner is in reality a master terrorist intent on hijacking the plane and using it as a weapon of mass destruction. With the help of the flight crew and a few passengers, Cutter must fight to prevent the terrorist from succeeding and save the lives of everyone on board.
The film opens with Cutter arriving at the airport for his assignment. He meets with the airline’s security director, who briefs him on the mission and the prisoner he’s supposed to be guarding. As the plane takes off, Cutter quickly discovers that the prisoner is in fact Charles Rane, a master terrorist who is wanted by the FBI for his involvement in a series of bombings. Rane is accompanied by his henchmen, who plan to hijack the plane and use it to carry out a terrorist attack.
Cutter then teams up with the flight crew and a few passengers to take down the terrorists and prevent the hijacking. He uses his expertise to outwit the terrorists, and together they
