Synopsis/Plot
Over the Top is a 1987 action-drama film starring Sylvester Stallone, Robert Loggia, and David Mendenhall. The film follows Lincoln Hawk, an ex-convict truck driver, as he attempts to win the World Armwrestling Championship in Las Vegas and reconcile with his estranged son, Michael.
Lincoln Hawk is an ex-convict who has served time in prison and is now a long-haul trucker. He is determined to make something of his life and to reconnect with his son, Michael, who is living with his wealthy grandfather, Jason Cutler. After Hawk is invited to compete in the World Armwrestling Championship in Las Vegas, he decides to take his son with him in an attempt to win his respect.
The two embark on a cross-country road trip, during which they encounter various obstacles, including a rival trucker who is determined to stop them from reaching Las Vegas. Along the way, Hawk and Michael slowly begin to bond and Hawk’s determination to win the championship grows.
Once in Las Vegas, Hawk must face off against the reigning champion, Bull Hurley, in a grueling arm wrestling match. Despite the odds, Hawk manages to win
