Synopsis/Plot
Outlaw King is a 2018 historical action drama film directed by David Mackenzie and written by Bash Doran, James MacInnes, Mark Bomback, and David Mackenzie. It stars Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce, the King of Scots who leads a revolt against the ruling English in 14th century Scotland.
The film follows Robert the Bruce as he leads a daring and dangerous uprising against the tyrannical rule of King Edward I of England. After being declared an outlaw by the English, Robert must rally a band of supporters to fight for their freedom and take back their country. He must face off against the powerful English forces, as well as his own internal struggles, in order to free Scotland from oppression.
The story is filled with intense action and thrilling battles, as Robert and his loyal followers fight for their freedom. Along the way, Robert must also struggle with his own inner demons, as he wrestles with his own sense of honor and morality.
