Synopsis – What to Expect from “Our Man Flint”
Our Man Flint is a 1966 spy-fi comedy directed by Daniel Mann and starring James Coburn as Derek Flint. The movie follows Flint, a secret agent with extraordinary powers, as he is called upon to save the world from a group of evil scientists.
The movie begins with Flint being called upon by a government agency to investigate a series of mysterious earthquakes. He quickly discovers that the earthquakes are the result of a group of scientists led by Doctor Krupov, who are attempting to take over the world by using a device to control the weather.
Flint then travels to the scientists’ underground base in the Caribbean, where he discovers that they plan to use their device to flood the world and create a new world order. Flint must now use his wits and powers to stop the scientists and prevent them from achieving their goal.
He eventually succeeds in foiling their plans and destroying their base, but not before they have activated the device, causing a massive flood. Flint then uses his powers to create a giant wave that reverses the flood and saves the world.
In the end, Flint is hailed as a hero and rewarded for his bravery. The movie ends with Flint walking off into the sunset, ready for his next mission.
