Synopsis – What to Expect from “Open Marriage”
Open Marriage is a 2017 drama/thriller directed by Sam Irvin. The film tells the story of a married couple, Rob and Linda, who decide to open their marriage to explore new possibilities and experiences.
The film begins with Rob and Linda, a successful and attractive couple in their mid-thirties, discussing their stagnant marriage and looking for ways to spice it up. After much discussion, they decide to open their marriage and explore other relationships. They set up some ground rules and begin to explore the new possibilities.
Rob begins to explore the dating scene and meets a beautiful woman named Sarah. He quickly falls for her and begins to question his commitment to Linda. Linda, meanwhile, begins to explore her own options. She meets a charming man named Mark and they form an instant connection.
As the relationship between Rob and Sarah grows, Linda begins to feel neglected and jealous. She soon begins to suspect that Rob is cheating on her. Meanwhile, Rob is feeling overwhelmed by the new situation and is struggling to keep his emotions in check.
The couple’s exploration of their open marriage leads to a series of dramatic events that test their relationship and ultimately leads to a confrontation between Rob and Linda. In the end, they must decide if their marriage is worth saving or if it’s time to move on.
