Synopsis – What to Expect from “One Small Hitch”
One Small Hitch is a romantic comedy about two childhood friends, Molly and Josh, who reunite at a wedding after years of not seeing each other. After a night of drinking, Molly and Josh impulsively decide to pretend they are engaged in order to please Molly’s parents, who are expecting her to bring home a fiancé.
The two set out for Molly’s parents’ home in Chicago, and along the way, they must deal with their unexpected feelings for each other, as well as the complications of their fake engagement.
When they arrive in Chicago, Molly’s parents are overjoyed to meet Josh and quickly plan a wedding. Despite their initial misgivings, Molly and Josh find themselves drawn to each other, and as the wedding draws nearer, they must decide whether to continue with the plan or tell the truth.
The film follows the couple as they navigate the ups and downs of their relationship, and ultimately learn that life is full of surprises. Along the way, they discover that sometimes, a small hitch can lead to a happy ending.
