Synopsis – What to Expect from “One Crazy Summer”
One Crazy Summer is a classic 80s comedy about two teenage best friends, Hoops McCann and George Calamari, who are determined to make the most of their summer vacation.
The boys have just graduated high school and are looking forward to a summer of fun and adventure. They decide to head to Nantucket, Massachusetts, where Hoops’ older brother is living.
Once they arrive, they find that their brother has gone away and they have the entire summer to themselves. They quickly befriend a local girl, Cassandra, and her eccentric artist parents, and the trio set out to explore the island.
They soon find themselves in a series of misadventures, from trying to win a sailing race to getting caught up in a local feud between a wealthy family and a group of struggling fishermen. Along the way they also find love, and learn valuable lessons about friendship and growing up.
