Synopsis/Plot
Once Upon a Time in Venice is an action-comedy film starring Bruce Willis as Steve Ford, a down-on-his-luck private investigator in Venice Beach, California. When Steve’s beloved dog, Buddy, is stolen by local thugs, Steve must take matters into his own hands and enlist the help of his friends to get Buddy back. Along the way, Steve finds himself tangled in a web of corrupt local politicians, drug dealers, and a mysterious crime boss known as “The Pharmacist”.
The movie follows Steve as he navigates the seedy underworld of Venice Beach to save his beloved pet. Along the way, he is forced to confront his own shortcomings and the consequences of his past actions. With the help of his friends, Steve must use his wit and determination to outwit the criminals and save Buddy before it’s too late.
The film features an ensemble cast including Jason Momoa, Famke Janssen, John Goodman, and Thomas Middleditch. It is directed by Mark Cullen and written by Robb Cullen.
