Synopsis/Plot

Oliver & Company is a 1988 animated musical comedy-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is based on the classic Charles Dickens novel Oliver Twist, but set in modern-day New York City.

The movie follows a young, orphaned kitten named Oliver who is taken in by a gang of streetwise dogs led by Dodger. Together, they embark on a series of adventures and misadventures as they try to stay one step ahead of the law and the animal control officers. Along the way, Oliver meets a variety of characters including a pampered poodle named Georgette, a street-wise tabby named Tito, and a homeless old bulldog named Einstein.

The main antagonists of the movie are a pair of wealthy pet-nappers named Sykes and Roscoe, who have been kidnapping pets and holding them for ransom. Oliver and the gang must find a way to stop them and save the animals before it’s too late.
