Synopsis/Plot
Office Space is a classic comedy film released in 1999, written and directed by Mike Judge. The movie follows the story of Peter Gibbons, a frustrated programmer at a large software company who hates his job and is desperate to find a way out.
The movie opens with Peter working at Initech, a software company where he is surrounded by a group of equally disgruntled employees. He is constantly harassed by his boss, Bill Lumbergh, who is always asking him to work late and take on extra tasks. Peter’s co-workers include Michael Bolton, a talented programmer who is constantly mistaken for the singer of the same name, and Samir and Milton, a pair of mild-mannered employees who are frequently the target of their boss’s wrath.
When Peter visits a hypnotherapist to help him relax, he is accidentally put into a deep trance and wakes up with a newfound zest for life. He decides to stand up to his boss and quit his job, but soon finds himself in trouble when he and two of his friends, Michael and Samir, are caught stealing from the company.
In an effort to make some quick cash, the trio hatch a plan to use a computer virus to steal
