Synopsis/Plot
Odd Thomas is a 2013 American supernatural thriller film based on the 2003 novel of the same name by Dean Koontz. The film is directed by Stephen Sommers and stars Anton Yelchin as Odd Thomas, a short-order cook with psychic abilities who can see the dead. He soon finds himself in a race against time to prevent a disaster of apocalyptic proportions.
Odd Thomas is a loner living in the small desert town of Pico Mundo, California. He works as a short-order cook at the local diner and has a special ability to see the lingering spirits of the dead. Despite his extraordinary gift, Odd leads a simple and quiet life until one day he is visited by a mysterious stranger who warns him of a looming disaster. Odd soon discovers that the town is being targeted by an evil force, and he must use his powers to stop it.
With the help of his friends, Stormy Llewellyn (Addison Timlin), the town’s police chief Wyatt Porter (Willem Dafoe), and a mysterious figure known only as the ‘Fungus Man’ (Shuler Hensley), Odd embarks on an epic quest to save his beloved home. Along
