Synopsis – What to Expect from “October Baby”
October Baby is a 2011 American drama film directed by Jon and Andrew Erwin. It stars Rachel Hendrix as Hannah, a 19-year-old college student who discovers that she is the survivor of a failed abortion.
The film begins with Hannah, a young college student, performing in a play. After the performance, she collapses and is rushed to the hospital. She discovers that she has a serious medical condition and her doctor suggests that she needs to find out the truth about her past.
Hannah’s adoptive parents are unwilling to share the details of her adoption with her, so she sets out on a journey with her best friend Jason and her physician, Dr. Hartman, to find her biological mother. Along the way, she meets a variety of people who help her understand the truth about her past.
At the same time, she also discovers the power of forgiveness and the importance of family. She eventually finds her biological mother, who explains that she was the result of a failed abortion. Hannah is devastated by the news, but gradually comes to terms with her past and finds the strength to forgive her mother.
In the end, Hannah finds the courage to forgive and accept her past. She also learns to appreciate the love and support of her adoptive parents and friends. October Baby is a powerful story of hope, healing, and redemption.
